My name is Susan Odom and I love to explore, experiment with and attempt to unravel the mysteries of historic American cooking and foodways. Delving into my collection of historic and reproduction cook books and cooking equipment I find recipes to try and re-try.

As an independent Historic Foodways Specialist, I  specialize in 19th century American foodways and offer historical cooking demonstrations, presentations, living history, classes, research and consulting.
